What is waxing?
Waxing is a form of hair removal that removes the entire hair from the hair follicle. Warm wax is applied to the skin and adheres to the hair. When removed, the hair is pulled from the root.
Does waxing hurts?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but you can expect a short, stinging sensation after the strip is pulled. If you are worried about being sensitive, taking an ibuprofen or aspirin about 30 minutes before your appointment should minimize your discomfort (consult with your physician before taking medications). Continuous waxing causes finer and less hair therefore waxing becomes less painful.
What kind of wax do you use?
Hard wax and strip wax. Brand use: Wax XXX.
Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?
No, waxing actually has the opposite effect. Hair that is removed at the roots grows in finer and softer over time.
Can I get waxed if I’m on my period?
Yes, (except bikini area). However, if you are concerned the increased hormone activity will make you more sensitive; avoid waxing 3 days before and the first 3 days of your cycle.
How do I prepare my for my waxing service?
We recommend that you exfoliate the area several days prior to your appointment. Thoroughly clean the area keeping the skin moist, but not greasy from heavy lotions or oils.
What's the difference between bikini line, bikini full and brazilian wax?
Bikini line is a basic tidy; we wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you’re wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from "peeking out".
Bikini (full) is the next step and allows you to take off as much or as little hair as you like off the front. If you want to leave a small "landing strip", triangle or nothing at all, it’s up to you!
Bikini Brazilian goes from the front, all the way to the back with an added butt strip. This is perfect for a completely nude look or you can leave a neat triangle on the front. Choose your style!
Is there anything I should do before my waxing appointment?
- Refrain from taking a shower or bath immediately before the treatment. Soaking the hair will soften it, allowing it to break more easily and making waxing less effective.
- Make sure the hair is the appropriate length for waxing. See how long, or short, should my hair be for waxing?
- Make sure that the area(s) to be waxed are clean.
- There are certain medications and products that should not be taken or used if you plan to have a waxing treatment soon. Topical exfoliants used on the area to be waxed such as Retin-A, Renova, and hydroquinone, oral acne medications such as Accutane, blood-thinning medications, and topical/oral cortisone make the skin more sensitive and increase the likelihood of irritation or other complications.
- Please check with your doctor if you are unsure whether you should be waxed while on or using a medication.
Can I shave between waxing appointments?
No. Please do not shave between waxing appointments! It disrupts the hair growth cycle resulting in more hair at your next appointment.
What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural
eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions last?
When applied by one of ourextensionist, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks.
What kind of lash and adhesive do you use?
We use Airy Sable lash from Japan. Pavilion only uses medical grade adhesive which never comes in contact with your skin.
Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?
Not recommended. Our eyelash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes an improved look of fullness so mascara is not needed.
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?
We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 48 hours of wear. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.
How soon can I wash my face after the extensions are applied?
Do not splash water onto your face. The suggested time frame is 12 hours. For a guest with sensitivities, it is suggested to wash within the first 6 hours of application.
How do I dry my eyelash extensions?
After cleansing your eyelashes, brush your extensions with a spoolie brush and use a lint- free cloth to gently apply pressure to the top of your extensions while keeping your eyes closed.
How do I take care of my new eyelash extensions?
- Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 6-12 hours
- Avoid hot steam or sauna
- Do not perm eyelashes or manually curl.

90 - 120 minutes for a full set of lashes and 45-60 minutes for a refill.
What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed?
We do offer a service to have the extensions removed about 60 minutes appointment in which we apply a gel remover. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions are gently wiped away with lint free applicators exposing the natural lashes.
